Your absence has indeed been noticed but, given everything you have going on at the moment, quite understood. I hope things get a little less hectic soon and you can enjoy the MUD again.

Thanks for the help sweetie. I'm sorry you're feeling worn down by it all and would LOVE to see you back in RP and to hang out and chat once everything settles down for you. You are missed.

There seems to have been some confusion, you don't give away any of your own points.

So if you have 10 SP, it means you can award up to 10SP. When you award it does not take away from what you have. It is just the limit on how much you can award yourself.

As I understood it, let's say you have 5TSP. That means you can give away up to five points regardless of whether or not you spent your own points. I think this might be how it works? If not, I can see people not giving away the points like Xie.

I'm a little concerned about this, to be honest, though it's possible that my worries will be cleared up with a little clarification.

I like the idea that there is another 'class' of RPP for particularly good RP, awarded not automatically but by staff/players. However, if one has to pay X SP for an alt that is a Baron, or a Vek, or to raise one's stats, it rather discourages one from awarding that SP to other players, regardless of how good their RP is. If I'm one or two SP away from getting a new alt that I want, it'll be pretty hard for me to give away any to someone else. As you've stated that SP is only for 'exceptional' RP, it doesn't sound like it'll be too easy to get a hold of which will only make the problem worse.

To avoid rambling further, I think it comes down to the issue that you're expecting people to freely give away something that sounds essentially quite valuable, where the requirement to do so is really, really subjective.

Anyway, those are just my immediate thoughts on what has been said so far.

We're still hashing out the details, whether it'll be purchased or have a total SP requirement, etc.. but the focus will be on SP rather than RPP for things. Basic raising of skills/attributes will be RPP with everything else being from SP.
